Transportation Service Request For Proposal (RFP) Information
The Heart of Georgia-Altamaha Regional Commission known as the “RC” is requesting proposals for Transportation Services in the Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Region 9. The objective of this procurement is to obtain the services of qualified provider(s) with the demonstrated knowledge, experience, competence, resources and familiarity with DHS consumers for vital services designed to enhance health, independence and self-sufficiency. Also, where applicable, provide dependable, safe, accessible and convenient transportation services for public consumers under the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Section 5311 Rural Public Transportation Program.
In order to access this information, potential contractors will need the Adobe Reader. In order to access Microsoft Word files you need to have the Microsoft Word program or you will need to have another word processing program that is able to open Microsoft Word files.

The final day to submit written questions is January 12, 2011.
The RFP's are due on February 3, 2011 by 5:00 p.m.
The providers will be selected on or around April 1, 2011
The selected providers will be expected to begin work on July 1st, 2011
